Stillness is not the absence of change, but the place where it becomes visible.
Reflection
Sometimes growth doesn’t come from pushing past what’s comfortable,
but from becoming still long enough to notice what is already shifting.
I picture a river slowing into a small, quiet pool —
a side channel where the water gathers and clears.
Nothing dramatic.
And yet, something is happening.
In that stillness, the next movement becomes visible.
Not as a command,
but as an invitation.
And sometimes there is no pause.
The river is disrupted.
The familiar banks give way.
Change arrives through chaos, asking us to rethink the direction of our flow.
Both are teachers.
Stillness shows us what is ready.
Disruption shows us what can no longer remain.
Maybe growth isn’t about leaving the comfort zone on principle,
but about learning when to rest in the pool —
and when to follow the current as it bends and carries us somewhere new.
Be Kind to Yourself
This is the kind of conversation that grows.
